Which is Better? Bellafill vs. Sculptra vs. Juvederm

Bellafill Alternatives

Some of the most Bellafill alternatives are Restylane, Voluma, Perlane, Belotero, and Radiesse. The first of the bunch, Restylane, is known for not causing allergic reactions to patients because it uses bacteria proteins. However, Restylane needs to be reinjected in a short period of time to keep the result.

According to the American Board of Cosmetic Surgery, products such as Perlane, Voluma, and Belotero are called Hyaluronic Acid, which is absorbed by cells after 12 months or longer. Radiesse is what you call as Calcium Hydroxylapatite, which is used for deeper lines but ultimately absorbed at the same timeframe as other products. Bellafill, on the other hand, can last for years without reinjection necessary.

There are other ways to achieve the effect of collagen on the skin. These methods are Fat Grafting, Fat Transfer, Liposuction, Laser Liposuction (Major providers such as Sono Bello, also known as Sonobello, the most famous laser liposuction & body contouring clinic in the United States), Power-assisted Liposuction, and Micro-laser Assisted Liposuction. Patients sometimes avoid these methods to avoid surgical involvements. Other Bellafill alternatives are Juvederm and Sculptra.

Bellafill vs. Juvederm

Like other dermal fillers, Juvederm is based on Hyaluronic acid which is only designed to smoothen skin folds for a short amount of time. At first glance, Juvederm’s lower price tag is attractive to customers. However, Juvederm needs to be reinjected after 9 – 24 months while Bellafill can last up to five years and can also be used to correct acne scars.

Bellafill vs. Sculptra

Bellafill and Sculptra are both used to smoothen wrinkles and reduce the signs of aging in the skin. However, just like Juvederm, Sculptra has a short-term result, at least compared to Bellafill. Sculptra’s result is also not immediate and can only appear after 4-8 weeks. It also needs constant maintenance to reach the maximum 2-year lifespan.
